The choice to get married in Minnesota was an easy one. Adrianna had always dreamed of getting married where she had grown up, and Joe was more than happy to "give her a home game," as they continue to build their lives in his home state of Connecticut.

Lake Minnetonka in particular holds a special place in Adrianna's life. She grew up boating here with her family and friends in the summer, and playing pond hockey on homemade rinks in the winter. It didn't take long for Joe to understand the beauty and charm of Minnesota. He can even boast about his first ice fishing experience here!​​​​​​
At more than 14,000 acres in size, Lake Minnetonka is the largest lake in the Twin Cities metro area and one of Minnesota’s most beloved destinations. What makes it especially unique is its chain of over 30 interconnected bays and channels, each with its own character.
